Off-Campus Job Fairs
As a member of The National Law School Consortium (NLSC), we hold job fairs in various large U.S. legal markets. The National Law School Consortium is an association of ten top public law schools from across the United States. Employers who participate in these job fairs include a cross section of large firms, medium-sized firms and government employers. We will be participating in the following off-campus job fairs in 2013:
- New York City, NY – August 6
- Washington, D.C. – August 7
- Philadelphia, PA – August 8
- Chicago, IL – August 16

Please contact Linda Jones in our office if you would like to participate or learn more about the 2013 job fairs.
Moritz Short-term Assistance Registry (STAR)
The Moritz Short-term Assistance Registry (STAR) is designed to provide employers a pool of qualified second- and third-year students and graduates from the most recent class to hire for assistance with short-term projects. The intent of the program is to provide you with short-term assistance with no obligation to hire on a continued basis and to give students an opportunity to get some relevant practical experience. Such projects could include:
- Document review
- Research and writing
- Updating summaries of state and/or federal regulations
- Assisting with writing articles or updating firm newsletters
- Updating firm website
- Filing court documents
Government & Public Interest Opportunity Forum & Job Fair
Designed for public interest and government employers, this event is held each year in the spring semester. The Forum brings together public interest and public service employers seeking paid and unpaid interns for the summer or for the school year. Employers select and interview students for full or half days for selected days in February 2013. Additional "Table Talk" sessions allow employers to provide information about their organizations to interested students. Employers may participate in either or both sessions. If you wish to participate or have questions, please contact Cybele Smith at smith.302@osu.edu or (614) 292-7707.
