Board Fellows Program

Are you a 2L or 3L interested in developing leadership skills and interacting with attorneys and other professionals in the business and nonprofit community? The Moritz Board Fellows Program allows students to participate as non-voting members on the boards of local nonprofit organizations. In addition to networking opportunities, students will gain the leadership skills necessary to succeed in these roles and will get an inside view of how nonprofit boards operate.

Students will be paired with a mentor on their assigned board, will attend all regularly scheduled board meetings throughout the school year, and may contribute on subcommittees and through completion of special projects.  Public service hours will be earned for satisfactorily completing the program. A description of the program is attached, listing currently participating boards. If you have any questions, please contact Lori Serpico:

Applications for the 2018 – 2019 Moritz Board Fellows Program are due by April 2, 2018. If you are interested, please complete the attached application and return (along with the additional requested documents noted on the application) to Demondre Peak at
