Students in Professor Doug Berman’s Sentencing class last semester had a choice at the end of the semester: Take a four-hour exam, or write brief for the U.S. Supreme Court on a case involving juveniles sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.  Meet five students who choose the latter and learn about how the brief was submitted.
