Professor Christopher Walker previews Schuette v. Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, the challenge to an amendment to the Michigan constitution that bans the use of affirmative action by public universities. The case was argued before the United States Supreme Court on Oct. 15. Walker is a former clerk of Justice Anthony Kennedy, who is often the swing vote on many cases.
