Students invited to lunch with Schottenstein GC
Tod Friedman, executive vice president and general counsel of the Schottenstein Property Group, will join a small group of Program on Law and Leadership students for a discussion titled “Leadership in Commercial Real Estate” at 12:10 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Barrister Club. Lunch will be provided, but interested students need to enter a lottery for a seat at the table.
The event, part of the program’s private conversation series, is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for a select group of just 18 to 20 students to interact with a distinguished guest in a small setting.
Freidman has worked with Schottenstein Property Group for nearly 20 years. He joined in 1994 as chief legal officer for Value City Furniture and American Signature, brands under the Schottenstein umbrella. He previously was at Bricker & Eckler LLP in Columbus for six years.
He is at the forefront of legal and business strategy decisions and manages relationships with third-party firms the company uses for outside counsel. Friedman also is incredibly involved in his community serving on numerous boards and councils.
Students who want to be added to the lottery should RSVP as soon as possible but no later than noon Thursday to Annina Parini at email@example.com. Winners of the lottery will receive a notification by email letting them know that they have a reserved seat at the luncheon.
