Diversity & Inclusion reception planned
The Class of 2016 and all new students will be welcomed by the Office of Diversity & Inclusion at a special reception on Thursday.
The office was created to help the Moritz College of Law look at diversity in a broad sense – from economic diversity to gender issues to sexual orientation to race – and offer programs and support for student-run affinity groups.
Students are invited to meet the leadership of and learn more about the Asian-Pacific American Law Students Association, Black Law Students Association, Christian Legal Society, J.Reuben Clark Society, Jewish Law Students Association, Latino Law Students Association, Middle Eastern Law Students Association, OutLaws, South Asian Law Students Association, SPEAK, and Women’s Legal Society during Thursday’s reception, which takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Barrister Club. Refreshments will be provided, but RSVPs are needed today.
