’07 Grad Helps Start Nonprofit to Benefit Bolivian Village
When Huda Ahmed ’07 went on to Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business to earn her MBA after graduating from Moritz, she wasn’t sure what to expect.
She also didn’t know where a Fisher elective course, Microfinance, would take her. As part of the class, Ahmed and her classmates visited Bolivia to learn and offer consulting. The trip opened her eyes to a world of opportunities. ››Read more

The ABA Journal's annual list of the 100 best web sites by lawyers, for lawyers, has been released. The list is divided into the following catagories: News, Legal Theory, Careers, Criminal Justice, Lighter Fare, Practice Specific, IMHO (in my humble opinion), Legal Tech, Business of Law, and Geo (geographic specific).

LeRoy Pernell ’74 was featured in a January ABA Journal story entitled “Saving the School.” The story details the success of Pernell, the dean of the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) Law School, in achieving the once-challenged school full ABA accreditation. Pernell joined FAMU after spending 10 years as dean of the Northern Illinois University College of Law.
