Strong ’89 Leads AOL’s Ethics/Compliance Program
When Kimberly Strong ’89 was first asked in 1998 to explore the creation of a compliance and ethics program for her Virginia employer, expectations varied as to what the task would entail.
“I remember the general counsel coming to me and saying ‘I’m sure it is not going to be very much of your time,’” Strong said with a laugh.
What wasn’t expected to be “very much” time has transformed in to the focus of Strong’s career. Most recently, she is senior vice president, chief ethics & compliance officer for AOL, Inc., the global web services company. ››Read more

Online Registration Open for Reunion Weekend 2010
Members of the Classes of 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, and 2005 can now sign up for the festivities scheduled for Sept. 10-11. We have three great events planned for the weekend: the Reunion tailgate and class dinners, a Clinic Alumni Reunion, and the Barton Memorial Golf Tournament. Michael E. Flowers ’79 has been appointed Columbus city executive of Keith B. Key (KBK) Enterprises, a real estate development firm with work in several cities in Ohio, Pittsburgh, New Orleans, New York City, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. Flowers will lead and manage the growth of KBK Enterprises in Columbus and surrounding communities. Flowers will also retain his title of chief legal officer and the responsibility for the nationwide legal matters of KBK Enterprises.
Steven Goldfarb ’85 was recently elected as a trustee of the Shaker Schools Foundation in Shaker Heights, Ohio. He and his wife have three children, who all are graduates of the Shaker Heights School District. Goldfarb is a partner in the Cleveland office of Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, where he is co-chair of the firm's litigation practice. ››More Alumni News ››Submit News
