Todd McKenney ’89, a former state representative, has been appointed by the governor as the new judge in Summit County Probate Court by Ohio Gov. John Kasich. McKenney, 48, who was in his first term in the Ohio House, said he was grateful for the appointment to the probate court.
“It’s a court I’m familiar with from my law practice. I think I’ve practiced in just about every area of the court, from estates to guardianships to adoptions to marriage licenses,” he told the Akron Beacon Journal.
Lisa Whittaker ’07 has joined Porter Wright as an associate in the firm’s labor and employment department. She will focus her practice in all areas of management-side labor and employment law. Her experience includes defending both public and private sector agencies and universities in federal and state court, and before administrative agencies. ››More Alumni News ››Submit News
