The Center for Interdisciplinary Law and Policy Studies will present Lynn Powell, author of Framing Innocence: A Mother’s Innocence, a Prosecutor’s Zeal, and a Small Town’s Response, on Nov. 4 at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
Powell is a visiting assistant professor at Oberlin College and the author of two books of poetry. Framing Innocence is the story of how photographs a mother took of her child became the center of a heart-wrenching legal battle. The book was awarded the Studs and Ida Terkel Author Fund Award by The New Press.
The presentation begins at noon on Nov. 4 in Room 252 of Drinko Hall, at 55 W. 12th Ave., Columbus, OH, 43210. Lunch will be provided for participants, and an RSVP is needed by Oct. 31.
