PILF Spring Auction & Gala is March 27
The Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) will be hosting its annual Spring Auction & Gala on March 27th at the Longaberger Alumni House (2200 Olentangy River Road).
Each year, PILF organizes an Auction to raise funds for the PILF summer fellowship program. Most public interest organizations and government agencies are unable to pay summer legal interns, but these same organizations rely on student work to help them serve thousands of clients and to work on pressing public interest issues.
This year's Auction items include a football signed by OSU football head coach Jim Tressel, a bowtie from OSU University President Gordon Gee, VIP tickets for four to a Cleveland Cavaliers game, lunch for three with the Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann, tickets to Cleveland Indians' home opener, dinner for two at premier Columbus restaurants, and much more in addition to food, cocktails, live music, and a "Poker with the Professors" tournament.
