Ohio State Prepares for 2007 Home Football Season
Ohio State plays seven home football games this season. Changes for this year's football season include concession stands that will accept credit cards, a taxi stand to help visitors find a cab after the game, and changes in parking. Fan safety and enjoyment are the goal of a number of policies that will affect the game day experience. Those policies involve parking, tailgating and security. Learn more
Ohio State Undergraduate Mock Trial Team Seeking Judges for Scarlet and Gray Invitational
The OSU Undergraduate Mock Trial team is hosting its third annual Scarlet and Gray Invitational October 27-28. Volunteers are needed to judge the rounds and no previous mock trial experience is necessary. Rounds last no more than three hours and will start at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Volunteers can sign up for anywhere from one round to four rounds. The university will be hosting teams from across the country, including Arizona and California. This year's case is a penalty phase hearing regarding a woman who pleaded guilty to assault in the first degree because she stabbed a Child Protective Services worker who was removing her child from the home with a needle that was infected with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus.
For the past three years, Mock Trial at OSU has gone on to the American
Mock Trial Association's National Tournament, and the team has high hopes
for another visit this year. Your help will help them to achieve this
goal. If you are interested or have more questions, please email ohiostatemocktrial@gmail.com
or contact attorney coach Monica Dorman at monicadorman@gmail.com. Come
be a part of an exciting, educational competition, and support undergraduate
programming (and don't forget to bring a friend)!
