Working
as an intern in the Office of the Public Defender in Springfield,
Ohio, and as a young lawyer in the New Hampshire Legal Assistance
Program, David Alexander ’78 never expected that his career
path would lead him to countries such as China, France and England.
Most days, Dave finds himself here in Columbus in the thick of business
litigation. But his work with the International Chamber of Commerce

| Sarah Biehl ’03: Big Plans to Help Chicago’s
Teenagers |
In
order for Sarah Biehl ’03 to get to her high school legal clinic
at North Lawndale College Preparatory Charter High School in Chicago,
she walked down West 16th Avenue past crowds of teenagers. She began
to wonder, “How can I get those kids to come talk to me?”
This question led to a new idea taking shape in Sarah’s mind.
As her funding for the innovative high school legal clinic came to
an end, she has been considering how to reach out to even more teenagers
across inner-city Chicago. (Read

| Moritz Alumni Receive Top University Staff Honors |
The
University’s highest honor for non-teaching employees, the Distinguished
Staff Award, was presented to 12 individuals in June. Recipients were
selected because of their contributions to the quality of life for
all people they encounter at work, including university colleagues,
students and members of the community. We are proud to announce that
two Moritz Law alumni were among the honorees: Brad Myers ’80
