| Kara Trott '91 Never Says Never |
After
graduating from law school, Kara Trott '91 joined Bricker & Eckler,
unsure of exactly where her career in law was going to take her. At
the firm's invitation, she submitted a list of three specialties she
would be interested in pursuing and one specialty that she had zero
interest in - healthcare. Yet, by 1999, she had left Bricker to found
Quantum Health. "I laugh about it now. I can't even remember the three
specialties I picked," she says. "You never say never though. I had
no intention of creating my own company. I'm the reluctant entrepreneur."

| Moritz Announces Leadership Initiative: Serious Scholarships for Serious Leaders |
Dean Nancy Rogers has announced the College's innovative leadership initiative that includes more than 75 full or partial new three-year scholarships to high achieving candidates who demonstrate strong leadership potential. "We are responding to alumni suggestions," explains Dean Rogers, "that future graduates would be outstanding leaders earlier in their careers if the College provided specialized coursework, experience with feedback, and contact with graduates who are successful leaders." Alumni may want to let talented candidates know about this new scholarship and programmatic opportunity for those entering in the Fall of 2007. (Read More) |

| Premiere: New Video Showcases Clinic Programs |
For
many Moritz students, problem solving, factual investigation, counseling,
negotiation, and litigation skills are best learned by combining an
intensive academic experience in the classroom with the actual practice
of law, in which students take responsibility for their own cases.
Pairing regular and clinical faculty in a "team" approach to clinical
education has led to exceptional results. Our new video tour of Moritz
clinical programs, directed by Lawrence D. Stanley Professor of Law
Gregory M. Travalio (pictured at left), showcases the hands-on learning
that benefits more than 150 students each year in seven different
clinics and practica. (View
