| W. Ray Persons '78 to be Honored as Distinguished Alumnus September 24 |
Widely
considered one of the best trial lawyers in the Southeast, Atlanta
attorney W. Ray Persons '78 will be honored as the Moritz Distinguished
Alumnus on September 24 at the OSU v. Iowa tailgate, to be held at
the newly-opened Barrister Club.
All alumni are invited to attend
and meet the man whose humble beginnings provide stark contrast to

| Law Students Move In to New Apartments in the Gateway District |
A
brand new apartment building, just a stone's throw from Drinko Hall,
is now home to seventy Moritz Law students. As part of the new South
Campus Gateway construction, the building, which also houses the new
Barrister Club, offers exercise facilities and provides study rooms
on each floor. As construction nears completion, students enjoy a
growing number of amenities, including a bookstore, grocery store,
florist, restaurants, and - most importantly - a very short commute
to classes. (See

| Pamela H. Lombardi Named to Head Career Services Office |
After
10 years of serving Moritz Law alumni as Assistant Dean for Alumni
Relations, Pam Lombardi has been named to the position of Assistant
Dean for Career Services for the College. The move marks a return
to the area of career planning, where Pam spent much of her early
professional life. For Moritz Law students, Pam's contacts with alumni
benefit them in their respective job searches. (See
