Rare is the faculty member who wins outstanding professor honors from the graduating class in only his third year in the academy. | College Marks 113th Ceremony for Graduates |

among the more than 2,500 attendees at the College's
Hooding Ceremony held Friday afternoon, May 9 in the historic
Ohio Theatre. In a tradition dating back to 1887, nearly 220
participated in the ceremony that marked their passage from

| Unprecedented Opportunities Draw Top Talent to Moritz |
It was a "perfect storm" of opportunity. A selective investment grant from Ohio State, a $31 million gift from the late Michael E. Moritz '61, and a chair established by J. Gib Reese '52 enabled the College to recruit some of the nation's top legal scholars to Moritz this year, including Dale Oesterle (pictured left). New hires will join a community of superb of scholars dedicated to creating one of the nation's best learning environments. (Learn more) |
| Corporate Governance Conference Draws Senior Counsel to Moritz |
Michael G. Oxley '69 (pictured right), co-author of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, said it best, "Make no mistake – this is a difficult period for those who love and cherish the free enterprise system." He returned to campus in April to keynote the College's first senior corporate counsel conference. The conference explored the changing roles of enforcers, boards, CEO's, and corporate counsel in the challenging post-Enron business world. |
