| Welcome! | |||
Based on readers' comments, our inaugural issue of This
Month @ Moritz, a monthly electronic newsletter for and
about law alumni, was a resounding success. In addition to
hearing from many of you, your referrals to other alumni nearly
doubled our subscription base. Alumni visits to our new, and
we believe, improved web
site, grew exponentially.If you are a new subscriber or a returning one, we encourage your participation in this collaborative effort we call This Month @ Moritz. We invite your news, story ideas and ongoing feedback. Tell us what are doing well and what we can improve. In return we offer to continue to listen and learn. With warmest regards, The OSU Moritz Alumni Relations Department

| Pulitzer-Prize Winner to Deliver Strong Lecture | |||
Linda Greenhouse, who reports on the U.S. Supreme Court for
the New York Times, will deliver the Frank R. Strong Law Forum
lecture in the Moritz College of Law's Saxbe Auditorium on Thursday,
November 14 at 4:00 p.m. The lecture is open to the pubic and
free of charge. Her topic, "Between Certainty and Doubt:
States of Mind on the Supreme Court Today" will examine
both the roots and consequences of the competing approaches
in the opinions and published off-the-bench writing of two key
justices. She proposes that close attention to this ongoing
debate provides a useful way of understanding the current Court.
