Norman Nadorff, 1980

Norman Nadorff ’80 recently received the Annual Eduacation Award from the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators. The award goes to the member who has done the most to promote education among international petroleum negotiators and lawyers. Nadorff has been senior counsel for British Petroleum in Luanda, Angola since 2006. The award was in recognition of the Norman's efforts in the creation and implementation of a BP-sponsored oil and gas LL.M. program at the Agostinho Neto University College of Law, the first of its kind in Africa. Norman also serves as industry advisor and law instructor in the program which is currently in its second year.


Peter Collins, 1978

Peter Collins Jr. ’78 is senior partner in the Tucson office of Gust Rosenfeld, P.L.C., a Phoenix-based firm. He chaired the Arizona College of Trial Advocacy from 2005-09 and was named in the Best Lawyers of America in 2009-10. His litigation practice centers on insurance coverage, aviation, construction, and environmental matters. He has been married to his wife, Debbie, for 35 years, and the couple have two daughters (born during law school), Courtney and Melinda.


Robert Wells, 1976

Robert S. Wells ’76 received the 2009 Bolton Award for Outstanding Bar Leadership from the National Association of Bar Executives. Wells has served as the Executive Director of the South Carolina Bar for 24 years.


Kevin McDonald , 1996

Kevin McDonald ’96 was appointed as the chief diversity officer at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y. McDonald served for the last two years as the vice president for equity and inclusion at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Va. McDonald is in the process of completing his doctoral degree in Sociology-Africana Studies.


Frank Ray, 1973

Frank A. Ray ’73, president and owner of Frank A. Ray Co., LPA in Columbus, was nominated by peers and recently recognized as one of the Top 5 Ohio Super Lawyers for 2012. It is his fourth consecutive year being designated among the Top 10 Ohio Super Lawyers.
