Dear Alumni and Friends,
The past year has been especially exciting at the Moritz College of Law, and your support makes it all possible. Our significant successes in the classroom and in the community continue to provide our graduates reasons to be proud of their alma mater. Through our award-winning teaching, nationally recognized scholars and extraordinary alumni, the College has an impact far beyond these walls.
You play a role in helping the College continue its upward trajectory. We are grateful for the support you’ve given in the past, and we hope you will continue contributing to our growing momentum.
Support from alumni is critical in raising scholarship funds for current and future Ohio State law students. For some students, scholarships make their dream of attending law school attainable. For others, it lightens the financial burden, making possible the pursuit of a practice that plays to one’s passions.
- Almost every law student is in need of financial aid, and the College makes a significant investment in this area as a result.
- One of every $5 the College spends goes toward tuition support for students.
- More than 48 percent of our students are carrying student loan debt from their undergraduate education, and financial aid plays a key role in their decision of where and whether to attend.
The opportunity to go to law school is an achievement. The opportunity to attend without a large financial burden is an incredible gift. Your generosity creates opportunities for talented people, so I hope that you will consider making your gift today.
Thank you again for your continued dedication to Ohio State.
