First-Year Students Enjoy the End of Orientation, and Honor Mike Briley '69 for His Service

Orientation week for 1Ls culminated in a reception at the new Barrister Club. Students had the chance to share war stories with each other, and get to know faculty better. Offering inspiration, Dean Nancy Rogers' presentation of the 2005-2006 Moritz Community Service Award to Toledo alumnus Mike Briley '69 encouraged students to give back to their communities. Mike then shared the story of his commitment to helping families give adopted children loving and stable homes. It was a relaxing way for 1Ls to end the week--and kick off their law school careers.
