Scott Davis '04, partner in the Bricker & Eckler LLP construction group, has been accepted for membership in the Calibr Global Leadership Network – a selective professional organization that offers career and professional development, community service opportunities, and points of connectivity for African-American business professionals. Davis focuses his practice entirely on the construction industry, where he puts his previous experience as a construction company project engineer and construction estimator to good use. He also has developed a niche practice advising hospitals on construction risk management and risk mitigation issues and contract negotiations.

Mitchell A. Weisman '83, a trial attorney with the Cleveland firm Weisman, Kennedy & Berris Co., LPA, has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers magazine. Weisman, an elected member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers since 2008, has won many large cases, including some seven-figure verdicts for his clients.

Philip J. Halley '81, a shareholder with the Milwaukee office of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C., was recognized by Best Lawyers as Lawyer of the Year 2013 in Milwaukee for Litigation - Trusts and Estates.
