William L. Bartos ’10 and fiancée Andrea C. Testa plan to marry this August in Hubbard, Ohio. Bartos is the director of public services for the City of Can (July, 2014)
Andrew M. Massara '11 joined Long & Levit in San Francisco as an associate. Massara's litigation practice focuses on the defense of lawyers and other profession (April, 2014)

Rob Robel '12 and his writing partner attached Cuba Gooding Jr. to his latest film "Gridlocked". He sold his previous film "Tapped", which he served as associate producer for, staring Michael Biehn, Cody Hackman and Krzysztof Sosynski, to Lionsgate for a release this May. (February, 2014)

David M. Wilson ’10 was one of four Kegler Brown Hill & Ritter attorneys to travel to Cuba in an effort to spur conversation with lawmakers about the ongoing U.S. trade embargo and business opportunities in the Cuban Market. As a Moritz College of Law Career Start Grant recipient, Wilson served as of counsel with Kegler. Today, he is an associate who focuses his practice on global business matters. (October, 2013)

Scott Greytak '10, an associate with Campinha Bacote LLP in Washington, D.C., recently worked on the U.S. Supreme Court's affirmative action decision, Fisher v. The University of Texas at Austin, and was featured recently in The Chronicle of Higher Education and Inside Higher Ed. Greytak also has been speaking on legal panels and giving presentations at various higher education and diversity conferences. Over the past year, he has written law review articles on education policy published in West's Education Law Reporter, as well as in two South African law journals, De Jure and The South African Public Law Journal. Priya D. Tamilarasan '10 has joined Meranda Law Firm LTD, where she focuses on focus serving clients who are dealing with domestic and criminal legal issues. Tamilarasan worked with the Franklin County Public Defender for two years prior to joining Meranda, which has offices in Columbus and Newark, Ohio. (October, 2012)

Haley A. Debevec '10 has joined the Cleveland firm Hurtuk & Daroff Co., LLP as an associate. She previously was an attorney in the risk management group of a real estate investment company in Columbus, Ohio. (July, 2012)

Jeffrey Hanneken '10 has joined Graydon Head in Cincinnati as an attorney in the firm’s litigation client service department. Hanneken’s practice is focused primarily on bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He is a member of the firm’s banking and financial services industry group and the commercial real estate industry group. (January, 2012)

William Owen '10 had an article published in the American Bar Association's Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Law Journal's spring-summer 2011 issue, "Racketeering and Workers’ Compensation: Why RICO Trumps the Exclusive Remedy." The article won first place in the 2010 College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers Annual Law Student Writing Competition. (January, 2012)

Stephanie Klupinski ’10, vice president of government and public relations at the Ohio Alliance for Public Charter Schools, presented a paper, titled “Public Schools, Private Employers? A Closer Look at the Labor Relations of Public Charter Schools,” at the 2011 Education Law Association Conference in Chicago. Klupinski was joined by Lindsay Nichols ’13 and Kevin Stanek ’13 for the presentation. (January, 2012)

Jeff Hanneken ’10 recently moved from Columbus with his wife and daughter back to their hometown of Cincinnati, where Hanneken joined Graydon Head & Ritchey LLP. Hanneken works as an attorney in the firm’s litigation client service department. His practice focuses on bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He is also a member of Graydon Head’s banking and financial services industry group and commercial real estate industry group. (December, 2011)

David Wilson ’10 has joined Kegler Brown Hill & Ritter LPA as an attorney, where he will focus his practice on international business matters with an emphasis on helping U.S. companies do business in Brazil and vice versa. Prior to joining the firm, Wilson spent a significant amount of time in Brazil, where he worked as a legal associate in São Paulo. He also served for eight years in the United States Army Special Operations Command and is an active member on the Latin American Regional Forum Committee of the International Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association’s International Law Committee. James Helmink '10 is running as a Democrat for State Representative in Ohio's 60th District. It is an open seat in Lake County. (December, 2011)

Briana (Seagriff) Mascaro '10 joined Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts U.S. as a labor relations manager. Mascaro advocates on behalf of the company in all aspects of the collective bargaining process. (October, 2011)

Nathan L. Colvin '10 has joined the Cincinnati office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP as an associate in the litigation group. Colvin recently completed a clerkship with Judge David W. McKeague of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. (October, 2011)

Clarence Dass '10 is the voice of "Swift Justice," a weekly legal education segment on WDVD 96.3 in Detroit. Dass began appearing on the "Blaine & Allyson in the Morning" show in December 2010, in addition to practicing with The Law Offices of Gurewitz & Raben. (September, 2011)

James David Campbell, Jr. '10 recently incorporated The Campbell Family Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit corporation with a mission to raise awareness and support for educational opportunities and youth education initiatives. The foundation works to provide the hope and growth that are only possible through learning. Whether it is through the fundraising for and endowment of an annual Campbell Memorial Scholarship or through fiscal support and leadership of other educational advancement programs, the Campbell Family Charitable Foundation spends each day working to ensure that each child has a chance to succeed through education. More information can be found at www.campbellcharity.org. In addition, he recently published a landmark article on European Law within the Syracuse Journal of International Law. The piece, entitled "Unenforceable Impracticality: Exploring Köbler’s Constitutional Jurisprudential and Practical Miscues," was written while he was a part of the Moritz semester study program at the University of Oxford. The article discusses evolving EU constitutional theory and focuses on recent landmark European Court of Justice rulings in a broadly expanding field of law, and has been called an important and intricate evaluation of the issues by several members of the Oxford law faculty. Sachiyo Isoda Peterson '10 (Associate at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP) and Anthony Weis '99 (Partner at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP) were featured prominently in the Columbus Business First story "International Business Drives Need for Multilinguals," which appeared in the May 6, 2011 edition of the paper. Matthew Brandt '10 will be practicing in Abercrombie & Fitch's Real Estate Department and assisting with furthering the company's international and domestic growth. (May, 2011)

Drew B. LaFramboise ’10 joined the Columbus office of Clark, Perdue & List Co. LaFramboise will provide support in the area of whistleblower protection litigation, in addition to the firm’s other practice areas. (January, 2011)

David M. Dirr ’10 joined Dressman Benzinger LaVelle as an associate in the firm’s Crestview Hills, Ky., office. Dirr’s practice will focus in the areas of health care and civil litigation. (January, 2011)

Douglas Hattaway ’10 has joined Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., in the firm’s Consumer Collections group in its Grove City, Ohio, office. (January, 2011)

Jeremiah Thomas ’10 has joined Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter in Columbus as an associate. He is focusing his practice on corporate and intellectual property law. (January, 2011)


Danielle Gadomski-Littleton ’11 is a fellow at the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, advocating on behalf of children in foster care. It’s not uncommon for these youth to have credit ruined by identity fraud or to be denied rights to housing, medical, and other benefits. Godomski-Littleton also advocates for foster children with immigration and special education issues. (February, 2014)

Eric D. Thompson '11 has joined Dickie McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. (DMC) as an associate, focusing in the areas of transportation law, insurance law, and technology law. He brings additional skills in the area of e-discovery, to the firm. Prior to joining the firm's Columbus office, Thompson served as a staff attorney working on the investigations and litigations as counsel to the court-appointed SIPA Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC, where he focused on evidence review and electronic discovery matters. (May, 2013)

Yianni Lagos ’11, was featured in a New York Times article “U.S. Tech Firms Facing Stronger European Date Protection Measures” Jan. 8. The legal and policy fellow at the Future of Privacy Forum is also a research assistant to Professor Peter Swire. In the article, which centered on the U.S.’s efforts to advance data protections for European Union citizens, Yianni said, “The largest challenge is the concept of interoperability. … Translating from a coded format to a commonly used format, that is what will be difficult and costly to achieve.” (January, 2013)

Jonathan W. Thomas '11 has joined Leason Ellis LLP, an intellectual property firm based in White Plains, N.Y., as a litigation associate. He previously worked as a litigation associate for the Law Office of Peter G. Eikenberry. (January, 2013)

Carmen E. Brown '12 joined Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP as an associate in the litigation group of the Columbus office. Brown, a former summer associate at Vorys, is a Certified Public Accountant and former auditor at Deloitte and Touche LLP. (November, 2012)

David Stokley '11 has joined the estate planning and probate group at Stark & Knoll LPA in Akron, Ohio. He will work with attorneys preparing trusts, special needs planning, and guardianship documents, as well as probate and probate litigation matters. His previous experience includes assisting clients, attorneys, and financial advisors in the wealth management group at JPMorgan Chase Bank. (October, 2012)

Joel M. Lund '11 has been hired as an associate in the commercial, real estate, and bankruptcy group in the Cincinnati office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease. Lund's practice focuses on structuring, devising, negotiating, and documenting a broad range of financial transactions. (April, 2012)

Sara T. Martin '11 has joined Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Indianapolis office as a staff attorney in the firm’s litigation department. Prior to joining the firm, Martin served as a legal intake officer for the Columbus City Attorney's Prosecutor Division and was a judicial extern for the Honorable Edmund A. Sargus Jr. at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. (April, 2012)

Cory Ingle '11 has joined the Dinsmore firm's Cincinnati office as an associate in the intellectual property practice group. Ingle concentrates his practice on intellectual property law with a focus on patent preparation and prosecution. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk at Hasse & Nesbitt, LLC. Ryan Lett '11 is an associate at Frost Brown Todd LLC in Cincinnati, where he is in the firm's business litigation practice group. He was a summer associate there in 2010. (January, 2012)

Mark Manning ’11 recently joined the Cincinnati-based law firm of Kohnen & Patton LLP. Manning will work as an associate in the firm’s business law and transactions practice group. (January, 2012)

Alfred B. Shikany ’11 has joined Dinsmore and Shohl LLP’s Cincinnati office as an attorney in the firm’s litigation department and insurance practice group. Shikany worked as a summer associate at Dinsmore prior to joining the firm and also interned at the Franklin County Municipal Court. (December, 2011)


Angelyne Lisinski ’12 has joined the litigation group in the Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP. Prior to joining Vorys, Lisinski served as a law clerk for the Honorable Elizabeth Preston Deavers, magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. (October, 2013)

Brandon Mitchell '12 was featured in a Court News Ohio article and video about the May 2013 Bar Admissions Ceremony. Mitchell has been working in the general counsel division of Nationwide. Read his story here. (September, 2013)

Emily E. Vlasek '12 has joined the Cleveland office of McDonald Hopkins as an associate in the firm's intellectual property group. Vlasek advises clients on IP matters including patent, trademark, and litigation. Before attending law school, Vlasek was a product researcher for Procter & Gamble in its research and development department, where she managed consumer and technical test placements. She also worked as a chemist for The Bonne Bell Co. and as a research assistant for the Penn State Immunization Project. (March, 2013)

Sean Michael Boone '12 and Jillian Wolosiansky '12 married Nov. 17, 2012. The couple lives in Lancaster, Ohio. Wolosiansky is a staff attorney for the Honorable Richard E. Berens in the Fairfield Court of Common Pleas. Boone works for criminal defense attorney James Mayer III in Mansfield. (January, 2013)

Meagan Fitzgerald ’12, joined the law firm of McCulloch Felger Fite & Gutmann Co., LPA in Piqua, Ohio as an associate attorney. She hopes to concentrate her practice on employment law, business and commercial law, as well as estate planning, and real estate. (January, 2013)


Monika Luken (formerly Perry) '13 married Christopher Luken '13 on March 29, 2014 in Cincinnati, Ohio. They currently live in Cleveland, Ohio. Chris works in real estate and business transactions at Baker & Hostetler and Monika works in franchise law and compliance at MMG. (June, 2014)

Marleen Kindel ’13 has joined Faruki Ireland & Cox P.L.L. as an associate. Her practice focuses on business and commercial litigation. Kindel served as a summer associate in 2012 at the firm, which has offices in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. (January, 2014)

Harrison Markel ’13 has joined AmeriCorps VISTA in Buffalo, N.Y., tracking poverty rates in the northwestern part of the state. The data is used to evaluate how past legislation has affected poverty in different communities. (January, 2014)

Chelsea Croy ’13 has joined the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis LLP as an associate. Her practice focuses on all aspects of product liability defense and business litigation. (January, 2014)

Caitlin Murphy ’13 has joined the Cincinnati office of Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL as an associate in the firm’s litigation group. Her practice focuses on commercial and securities litigation and class actions. (January, 2014)

J.T. Larson Jr. ’13 has joined the Indianapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP as an associate and member of the firm’s litigation department. He previously was a summer associate at the firm. (January, 2014)

Mallika Reddy ’13 is an associate in the general corporate practice group of Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP in Cleveland. She focuses her practice on assisting public companies and privately held companies in a wide array of business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, health care, and real estate matters. Tera Coleman ’13 is an associate in the litigation practice group of Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP in Cleveland. She focuses her practice on business, corporate, and commercial litigation and on public law litigation. (October, 2013)

Thomas A. Vetter ’13 has joined the finance, energy, and real estate group in the Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP. Vetter was a Vorys summer associate in 2012. In addition, he worked as an investment banking summer associate at Lancaster Pollard and completed a finance internship with Abbott Laboratories. (October, 2013)

Kara M. Singleton ’13 has joined the litigation group in the Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP. Singleton served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael H. Watson in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kimberly Cocroft ’00 in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. Michael J. Shoenfelt ’13 has joined the labor and employment group in the Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP. Shoenfelt previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Amul R. Thapar in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and as judicial extern for the Honorable Algenon L.
