Moritz Rules on July Bar Exam
With a 91% pass rate for first-time test-takers, the Moritz College of Law has maintained the highest first-time test-taker pass rate for the July exam in Ohio for the third year in a row.
The statewide average for first-time test-takers of this year's July Bar exam was 82%. The Moritz first-time July pass rate was down 1% from last year's though the second highest over the last 5 years. Moritz's 5-year average for first-time test-takers (90%, up from its 5-year average of 88% in 2003) was also the highest in the state.
The overall test-taker pass rate for Moritz graduates was 90%, up from our 89% over-all pass rate on the July 2003 exam, and also was the highest in the state. The overall statewide pass rate was 73%.
