The 2005 Fall Hooding Ceremony was held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 9 in the Michael E. Moritz College of Law Saxbe Auditorium.
Participants included: Lara Bertsch '04, Keisha Hunley, Jeff Mussman and Barry Naum. These and other December graduates are eligible to participate in the May 11, 2006 College of Law Hooding Ceremony which will be held at the Mershon Auditorium on the OSU campus.
Dean Nancy H. Rogers presided at the Hooding Ceremony, while Associate Dean for Faculty Sharon Davies presented graduates with their hoods. Reg Jackson '71, Moritz Law Alumni Society president, spoke as well.
The Hooding Ceremony acknowledges each graduate's hard work, dedication, and academic achievement. It involves presentation of a hood, lined in red to represent Ohio State, and trimmed in purple to represent the legal profession. Presentation of the hood carries with it a continuing commitment to the values and responsibilities represented by the Juris Doctor degree.
A short reception in the Barrister Club followed the ceremony. Click a picture below to launch the photo gallery.
