My pre-law school life in a nutshell...
I took a year before law school to explore the area of law I was interested in. I participated in the Lutheran Volunteer Corps and worked with a child advocacy organization.
Most amazing law school class (and why)...
Race, Class and the Criminal Justice System with Michelle Alexander. We have the amazing opportunity of reading a groundbreaking book and having the author as the professor. It's rare that you can learn about such important issues and have an authority on the issue in the room.
What I love about Columbus, Ohio
It's a mid-sized town with activities to do but not a lot of congestion.
What I love about The Ohio State University
The whole city respects and is a part of the campus. The campus is beautiful to walk around. Also there are so many resources, if you can't find what you're looking for at the law school, there are many other places to look and about 47,000 more people.
Best place to study
The back of the libraries near the windows where you can see everyone walking on High Street.
My favorite law school extracurricular (journals, clubs, etc) and why...
The Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) events are fun and the proceeds to toward allowing students to pursue their interests in public interest law over the summer.
The friends I have met in law school are...
The most dedicated and interesting people I have ever met. They are passionate about important issues and are working hard to be a part of shaping those issues.
