Master in the Study of Law (M.S.L.)

An alternative to the traditional three-year J.D. degree, the Master in the Study of Law (M.S.L.) degree is designed to help accomplished professionals in other disciplines expand their knowledge of legal principles and the U.S. legal system. At Ohio State, students in the M.S.L. program attend self-selected classes along side full-time law students at one of the country's top 10 public law schools. [M.S.L. Program]

Master of Laws (LL.M.)

The Moritz LL.M. program is designed for foreign lawyers who wish to advance their legal education in a stimulating academic environment. The College offers the dual advantages of a highly-regarded law curriculum (Moritz is ranked in the top ten of all public institution law schools by U.S. News & World Reports) at a major U.S. university and a LL.M. program of limited size that allows for individualized attention and support.
