Application Process: Dates and Deadlines
The Moritz College of Law admits new students for the fall semester only. Applications for admission may be submitted between September 15 and March 15 preceding the autumn term of enrollment.
Admissions are done on a rolling basis beginning in mid-December. Early decision applicants will receive a decision by December 21. Those applying through the regular admissions process will begin receiving decisions the first week of January.
Applicants for admission who wish to be considered for financial assistance are strongly encouraged to complete the FAFSA and complete other financial aid application forms at the earliest possible date after the FAFSA becomes available in January. The deadline for consideration of grants and scholarships is March 1.
Prospective students who wish to reside in one of the University's on-campus housing options are encouraged to initiate the housing application process simultaneous with the applications for admission and financial aid. By applying at this point in time, an admitted applicant will be given higher preference when the Housing Office makes housing assignments. An entering student is not obligated to accept a housing assignment should one be offered, so there is no drawback to applying early.
Applicants who are offered admission through March 1 have until the 15th of April to confirm their enrollment at the Moritz College of Law. Applicants who are offered admission April 2 or later will have three weeks from the date of the letter of admission to confirm their enrollment. All admitted applicants are encouraged to visit the Moritz College of Law.
