Course Description
This course will cover the basic elements of patent law, including patentable subject matter, utility, novelty, non-obviousness, claims, disclosure and enforcement of patents -- all in light of the recently enacted America Invents Act. There is no expectation that students in the class will have the technical knowledge to prosecute patents.
