Chief Advancement Officer
Building 193 Room 312
Jeff has fifteen years of experience in advancement work and returns to us from his alma mater, Spring Hill College, Mobile, Alabama, where he served as the college’s senior development officer and strategist, and chief adviser to the president, the trustees, and other college officials on all philanthropic matters. Jeff also served as campaign director for the College’s first truly comprehensive campaign, for which he and his team secured more than $13.8 million in private support during the campaign’s first 11 months. Additionally, Jeff served as the chief architect and strategist for the two largest philanthropic proposals in the history of Spring Hill College; $30 million and $15 million respectively.
Prior to this role, Jeff served OSU Advancement as a Senior Director of Development and Campaign Director, responsible for guiding unit campaign planning as well as supervision of the Foundation Board of Directors. Before this central role, Jeff served as a Senior Director of Development for the Moritz College of Law during which time focused on major gifts and oversaw the law school’s alumni relations operation. Thus, Jeff brings great knowledge of the law school, our alumni and donors and of our advancement team. He is well-remembered by many of us, and I’m especially excited about the blend of passion, knowledge and experience that Jeff brings to this role.
