Assistant Director Laura Landy Carr began her career in human services, spending seven years at United Cerebral Palsy of Central Ohio, where she served as a grant writer, compliance officer, and volunteer and front office manager. She expanded upon her work with non-profits by moving to Battelle, where she coordinated staff volunteer projects for over 50 local agencies. She made the switch to higher education in 2001, when she came to Moritz to work as its first Alumni Events Coordinator. She was promoted to Director of Alumni Affairs a few years later.

In 2007, she was offered the opportunity to serve the College in its newly created office of International and Graduate Programs. In this part-time capacity, she is responsible for marketing, prospect management, application processing, student activities and alumni contact for the LL.M. and M.S.L. programs. Her hours are Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 – 3:00, which allows her to spend time with her son Bryan.
